Korean Phrase of the Week
20 Oct
This is a new thing I’ve decided to do. I’ll record a short clip to teach you one Korean phrase or a couple words. Enjoy!
So, today’s phrase is 안녕하세요 (annyeong haseyo). It means hello. If you are planning a trip to Korea, you should at least know this phrase. Also, I’d really recommend learning how to read Hangul, the Korean alphabet. It’s a very easy writing system to learn: as I said, it’s an alphabet, and the pronunciation follows regular rules. I think it’s easier to learn Korean reading Hangul than trying to read romanized Korean (which, due to the system being recently changed, can be all over the place).
Let me know what you think!
