Foodie Friday: Choco Art in Jeju City
7 Sep
We had some time to kill when we were recently in Jeju City, and a local friend pointed us to Choco Art (site partially in Korean). It’s a gorgeous little café near the City Hall area.
We got an iced chocolate which was a little more than just chocolate milk. There was lots of syrup and whipped cream on top too.
And it came with truffles! They were quite good.
This chocolate dinosaur sculpture was perhaps the best part of the whole café.
Choco Art also has some desserts. Jeff got ‘tiramisu’ but in actuality in was more like cheesecake. Good cheesecake. Everything looked delicious and probably was.
There’s also free wifi. If you are looking for a nice place in Jeju City to hang out this is a good bet. I also heard there are chocolate-making classes here at times though I don’t have information about that unfortunately.
Details:
- Location: There’s a map here.
- Hours: 11 AM – Midnight
- Price: Drinks are around 5,000 Won. Desserts are similarly priced.
- Other Info: Check your receipt for the wifi password. Chairs are comfy. And there’s also one in Seoul! It’s near Gangnam Station, exit 4.
