Even though we didn’t travel much in 2014, we still ate a lot of tasty food!
Our Cooking with Cheese class was awesome, and the truffle macaroni and cheese was my favorite dish of the night.
I made roasted beet and Roquefort mac and cheese for Valentine’s Day. It was delicious and charmingly pink!
We went to Volt in Frederick, Maryland for brunch. The whole meal was incredible, but I particularly loved this lamb hash with eggs from Whitmore Farms. There was something magical about those eggs.
I had a delicious burger and mac and cheese at Ray’s to the Third.
Our former trivia place, Fireflies, has (or had? haven’t been in a while) a tasty waffle burger.
During our trip to San Francisco, we ate some incredible ice cream from Humphrey Slocombe at the Ferry Building. We got Vietnamese Coffee, Secret Breakfast (bourbon and cornflakes) and Harvey Milk & Honey.
Jeff made a great peach pie!

When I went to visit my brother, my parents and I ate at Cattlemen’s Steakhouse in Oklahoma City. Extremely great steak. This is a picture of my mom’s filet mignon – melt in your mouth good.
